SPRING HAS SPRUNG
There’s definitely something in the air at this time of year!……..
“It’s spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you’ve got it, you want—oh, you don’t quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!”— Mark Twain
“Spring is when you feel like whistling even with a shoe full of slush.” — Doug Larson
Let’s celebrate the end of winter with some joyful, heart-warming and uplifting tales about all the best springtime has to offer.
On Monday 9th April, join us at 7.30, upstairs in the Moorfield hotel, 131 Marsland Road, Sale, M33 3NW.
Whatever the tales offered by our tellers, you are bound to enjoy a great night in good company, being entertained by some of the finest storytellers around. Have a go at telling a tale yourself; just stick to the theme and the 8-minute time slot and you are off!
If you prefer to just relax and listen remember that WE LOVE OUR LISTENERS TOO!!
The audience decides who goes home with the trophy and the title!
Tickets cost £7.00 on the door. To join us for supper, just order and pay at the bar separately and let them know you are with the club so the meals all get served at the same time.
Call me to confirm dates (as they can change, rarely but it can happen) on 07854 227 805.
