Newcomers to the wonderful world of storytelling often ask ‘How can I learn to do that?’
The answer is, in part, just to get up and have a go!
The great poet Horace said the same thing but in fancier language (well it was a couple of thousand years ago): ‘Who has begun has half done. Have the courage to be wise. Begin!’
We have had some great beginners get up and give it a go at our past few meetings. Dorothy Connor came third in the audience vote for the session on the theme of ‘Earth, Air, Fire and Water’ and the following month Marilyn Mastin did the same with her lovely tale on the theme of ‘Transformation’.
If you’re new to storytelling why not look up a scary tale, poem or song to share with us at our Halloween Special on October 24th?
