It’s been a busy week for our little club…
Our very own, very talented, Colin Rowan did a wonderful 40 minute storytelling set on Saturday at a fundraiser for the wonderful Hulme Community Garden Centre. If you’ve never been there, just go, it’s lovely.
The atmosphere was magical, the Prosecco flowed and the food was fab. There was live music and even a professional a firedancer! Then the evening ended with Colin’s tales in a candle-lit arbour with a roaring fire and a very appreciative audience, many of whom were completely new to the art of storytelling.
Colin very kindly let Lynne and Sharon share the stage and put their twopenny worth in with a quick tale from each of them.
Sharon did two storytelling performances this week; one for the Mother’s Union and one for Northwich Tangent.
There was a radio interview about the club too. Exciting news…We have been invited to tell stories on 4 other radio shows!
Volunteers needed if you fancy having a go. Just ask Sharon for details.
